Amy Tinoco-Friedman

Amy Tinoco-Friedman is a Colombian American children's entertainer and author with over 38 years of experience writing and performing through magic, puppets, storytelling, and laughter. Throughout her career she has produced 4 Sing-Along Videos, 2 Music Albums, 3 Coloring Books about Dental Health, Stop Bullying and Being Kind. She was even in the Disney Parade at Magic Kingdom!

Amy came to the United States from Cartagena, Colombia when she was 2 years old. Her father was transferred from an American company in South America to Chicago, Illinois — and that is where her adventure to learn English began. The first songs she learned were "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." Those simple songs helped her find her voice, courage, and confidence.

Her first character was "Ooopsy" — the beloved, hilarious clown! She performed her educational and inspirational shows at Barnes & Noble, County Libraries, and even weekly at a local Publix supermarket. Soon her popularity led her to create more characters: Star Commander Ooopsy (Outer Space & the Galaxy), Super Ooopsy (inspiring kids to discover their inner greatness), Ooopsy Cowgirl Yeehaw (loving and caring for animals), the Eco-Magic Show (caring for the Earth) — and many, many more!

Her new horizon is author! She wrote a trilogy that takes the characters she created into a story that weaves them all together into an inspirational series for children.
